Anita Burns has been a successful astrologer for over 40 years and has lectured and taught all over the world. This course consists of thirty lessons written by Anita, and includes much information that is not available anywhere else. Why isn’t it available elsewhere? For many reasons, mostly because it comes from veteran astrologers Anita studies with or knew who didn’t publish their material, or that the material is out of print now. Anita also includes information from her many years of experience as an astrologer.

The lessons are structured for an easy, progressive learning experience. By completing the lessons, you gain sufficient expertise to open a consultation business. With successful completion of the lessons, you will be certified as an "Astrology Practitioner" from MetaStudies Institute.

Each lesson is given a personal evaluation and returned to you with review remarks and comments. Anita is always available for discussion and consultation via e-mail or phone. She tries to make the course as close to having a private instructor as possible.

OVERVIEW OF LESSONS

Lesson 1: The history of Astrology and how it moved from a mainstream science to a superstition and is on its way back to mainstream science.

Lesson 2: The technical aspect of the component parts of the astrological charts, the astronomy of astrology.

Lesson 3 - 6: An in-depth study of the signs of the zodiac.

Lessons 7 -10: An in-depth study of the planets affecting us through our horoscope.

Lesson 11: Celestial bodies such as moons (other than earth's moon, which is in the lesson on planets), and asteroids.

Lesson 12: About the sub-classifications and divisions of the signs called "decanates," Also about the mathematical stress points called "Nodes."

Lessons 13 - 14: Begin your understanding of the houses. Houses are the various departments of life that the planets activate in particular ways.

Lessons 15 -19: Study "Aspects." It is here that the intricacies of astrology begin to come forth. The aspects are what tie the horoscope together and make it an integrated portrait of personality and health.

Lesson 20: Starts you on the road to understanding predictive astrology through transits.

Lesson 21: Extra Astrology Tools. This lesson introduces you to some extra tools you can use to add even more depth to your understanding of astrology and to be able to deliver the extra insight that makes your delineations stand out from mediocrity. In fact, all of the lessons following are designed to do that. This lesson gives you some tools you can use with the charts you have so far learned to read, Natal and Transits. The lessons to follow show you how to use your knowledge in specialty fields such as horary, mundane, synastry, prenatal, and so forth.

Lesson 21B (Optional): Chart Calculation. How to calculate and erect astrological charts by hand. (Completion of this lesson not mandatory for certification).

Lesson 22: Progressions, and other predictive astrology methods

Lesson 23: Pre-natal Astrology. Studies how the planets affect you before you were even born.

Lesson 24-25: The study of a very special type of astrology-Horary. Horary astrology answers questions of the moment such as "Where is the ring I lost?"

Lesson 26: An overview and basic introduction to Mundane astrology, the study of how astrology influences governments, earth changes, politics, and global matters.

Lesson 27: A basic understanding and guide to Medical Astrology. How to determine health weaknesses and strengths and how to use holistic medicines to counteract weaknesses..

Lesson 28: Reincarnation in your chart.

Lesson 29:"Synastry," relationship astrology. Compatibility is detailed in the relationship between two charts.

Lesson 30: An evaluation lesson for determining your certification qualifications.
